Canterbury Recliner Chairs and Sofas

The Canterbury Range is the latest offering from Celebrity Furniture. The Canterbury range has over seventy fabrics to choose from. Including plains, florals, bright bold colours, or subtle shades. The wooden knuckles are available in three colours, Mahogany, Teak and Natural to compliment your choice of fabric. 

The Canterbury can also be purchased upholstered in Real Leather. Celebrity Furniture only use the best leathers available, with 27 stunning shades to choose from. Real Leather is used entirely on each piece of furniture, there are no splits, matching plastics or bonded leather.

Riser Recliner Chairs

There are three sizes of Riser Recliner Chairs on offer including, Petite, Standard, and of course the ever-popular Grande size. Each chair can be purchased with a Single Motor Recliner Action, which means you can operate all the functions of the chair from just three buttons. A recline button that will raise your legs and feet and lower the backrest to the angle that is just right for you, a button that will lower your legs and feet and help you into a standing position. There is also a re-set button that when pressed will return the chair to a natural seated position. As you would expect with a chair of this quality, a Dual Motor option is also on offer. The Dual Motor Riser Recliner Chair allows you to adjust the footrest and backrest independently when reclining, this gives an unlimited number of recliner positions. Controlled by five buttons, two to adjust the backrest up and down another two to raise and lower the footrest and help you into a standing position, and of course, there is a reset button that will return the chair to a natural seated position.

Recliner Chairs

Canterbury Recliner Chairs can be purchased with a Handle Recliner Action. A handle is situated on the side of the chair, when pulled the footrest will raise, to recline the backrest simply ease yourself back into the chair. The backrest is sprung loaded and by sitting forward, the back rest will return to the upright position. To close the footrest, pull your feet in towards you and pull the handle, the footrest will close very easily. There is also a Catch Recliner option, pull the catch and the footrest will raise, you operate the backrest exactly the same as the handle recliner option. To close the footrest pull your feet in until you feel the footrest lock-in. The catch is regarded as the neater and less obtrusive option and the handle recliner is the better choice for those who need the assistance of the handle.

Both Recliner Actions can be ordered with left-hand or right-hand control. Three sizes are on offer, choose from Petite, Standard and Grande.

Electric Recliner Chairs

Electric Recliner Chairs are the ultimate in reclining comfort and the Canterbury Recliners are no exception. You can purchase Canterbury Recliners with hand controls that work identical to the Canterbury Riser Recliners, or you have the option of side buttons. The side buttons are built into the side of the arm and are finger touch control. As with the Riser Recliner Chairs, you have the option of either a Single Motor Recliner Action or the Deluxe Dual Motor Recliner Action.

Again, all three sizes are on offer and can be ordered with left-hand or right-hand control.

Mammoth Medical Grade Foam

All pieces upholstered in fabric, (not leather) are filled with mammoth medical-grade foam. Mammoth Medical Grade Foam unlike conventional foam interiors has natural cooling benefits. This reduces sweating and the build-up of bacteria. It also promotes better circulation, better support, and better pressure relief. Mammoth foam is especially beneficial to those who have to sit for long periods.
