The Westbury Grande Riser Recliner is designed with the larger person in mind. It features a wider/deeper seat and a higher backrest and also a 25-stone user weight limit.

Westbury Grande Rise and Recline Chairs have a soft fibre-filled waterfall backrest. It has supportive arms and a wrap-over seat. The seat is a modern chaise design with a fully extending leg rest. This means there is no gap between the seat and leg rest giving your legs complete support. The real wood knuckles are not only elegant but can also be used as an aid for getting in and out of the chair.

Medical Grade Foam

Westbury Recliner Chairs and Sofas in fabric, (not leather) contain NHS award-winning Mammoth Medical Grade™ Foam Seating.

Mammoth Medical Grade Foam is unlike conventional foam interiors. Mammoth Foam has natural cooling benefits. This reduces sweating and the build-up of bacteria. Mammoth Foam also promotes better circulation, better posture, and gives better support. 

Single Motor or Dual Motor Riser Recliner Chair?

Westbury Riser Recliner Chairs are easy to operate. A touch button hand control is located in the handy side pocket.

Available with a Single Motor Riser Recliner action, or as a Dual Motor Riser Recliner action. The Dual Motor option allows you to operate the footrest and backrest independently. Both options have a power-lift facility to help you stand.

Rechargeable Battery Back-Up

A rechargeable battery backup system is available as an optional extra. The latest rechargeable battery backup system by Celebrity Furniture is compatible with all Celebrity Electric Recliners and in the event of a power cut will give the user between fifty and one hundred lifts before the need to recharge. This gives peace of mind and reassurance to the user. 

Adjustable Headrest

A powered Adjustable Headrest is available. This is ideal for those who like a little extra head support whilst reclining. You can raise or lower the headrest to the exact position you require. The adjustable headrest is controlled using two touch buttons on the riser recliner handset.

Wooden Knuckles

The stylish real wood knuckles are available in a choice of 3 colours, Teak, Mahogany, and Natural.

Heat and Massage system

Treat yourself to a stimulating massage, the massage system has 5 points of massage for your shoulders, back, lumbar, thighs and calves. Using this system you can target problem areas. Included is a deep heat function for your lumbar area.

Fabric

There are over 70 soft chenille fabrics to from, including pattern strips and plains, so matching your existing decor is easy. All fabrics pass the industry standard Martindale Rub Test where each fabric must endure a 25000 - 30000 Rub Test for heavy domestic use.

Castors/Glides

You have a choice of castors or glides. Castors are best when the chair is used on carpet and glides are the better option for use on hard flooring.
